Muse Fest 2021 will take place at the recently renovated Hong Kong Museum of Coastal and Defence. Visitors would be taken on an exciting journey through history while enjoying the carnival's various performances and activities. The main goal is for players to complete the task by collecting clues based on their assigned role through using the app's AR technology

I researched HKMCD's history and drew inspiration from daily news and board games to craft a compelling storyline for our virtual reality game. I also developed the art direction and characters for the project, blending historical elements with contemporary creativity to create an immersive and educational experience.

(FINAL OUTCOME)

Due to the pandemic, the final event has been rescheduled for fall 2022 to coincide with the reopening festivities featuring the debut of the "Riddles from the Coastal Defence" Virtual Reality Puzzle Game. This unveiling will occur during MCD Day, organized by Muse Fest HK 2022, showcasing a revamped experience post-facelift. Through the integration of AR interactivity and physical props, participants will embark on a journey along the Lyemun Fort Historical Trail in MCD, uncovering military relics and natural landscapes. By assuming the roles of virtual characters and adhering to provided instructions, visitor groups will partake in an unexpected adventure, immersing themselves in the scenic beauty and historic artifacts of the landscape.
